Once we have all the relevant information, we build your website. During the build, you will be given access to it so you can see the website being built and can easily advise us on what you like and don’t like.

As a small, family-run web design agency (husband and wife duo) working from home, our overheads are much lower than those of other web agencies. As a result, our prices reflect this, as it allows us to offer excellent value for money with our bespoke website design and development service.
We don’t offer cheap website design and development. You may have seen something like ‘£299 website built in a couple of days and I will throw in the website domain name, too’, but seriously, the old saying ‘you get what you pay for’ is so true.
Some of our work actually comes from clients who have either tried to build a website themselves or have gone for the cheap option and aren’t satisfied with the results. It’s invariably more expensive to correct someone else’s errors than it is to create a brand new website.

This all sounds great, but I have some questions. Can we chat first?
Of course. A new website is an excellent investment, but you must first understand what you're getting. You may also have no idea which package is right for your needs.

I have no idea what half of those features even are! Does it matter?
Well, not just yet.
We are proud of the websites that we design and build. We are so confident in the value of the websites that we create that we are happy to show the world what is included, and here is the price. We don’t hide our prices because we know it’s a fantastic investment.
It’s important to us that you understand the value. So, if you have any questions about any of the features, we'd be happy to talk you through them and explain in plain English what each one means and, more importantly, how it can benefit you.
How long does it take to build my website?
Our timeline to take your website from an idea to a completed website and live on the internet is between 3 and 6 weeks. The project timeline largely depends on the size and complexity of the project and how fast the revisions and content are given to us.
Who provides the website’s content, such as text and images?
You know your business better than anyone, so it’s best if the content comes from you. We are always delighted to provide title recommendations and alternatives if necessary. If you need a dedicated copywriter for your website, we can recommend a great copywriter. We advocate using actual images and videos of the business itself, but if that is not possible, we can provide some great sources for stock media.
What if I already have a domain name?
No problem. You can either transfer it to us and you can then benefit from unlimited email accounts (and more) or you can keep it with your current domain registrar. Either way, we can use your existing domain.
How do you incorporate SEO into web design?
There are two types of SEO. On-page SEO is optimising the website itself to improve its rankings, and off-page SEO refers to SEO tactics applied outside of a website to improve its rankings.
We include on-page SEO at every stage of the website build. This includes the correct use of keywords, optimised images, fast page loading speeds, mobile-friendly design, and installing an SSL certificate for website security. Implementing these practices will ensure your website is SEO-friendly and ranks well.
Off-page SEO is performed after the website is built and requires a significant time investment. This means you’ll also need to invest in a content strategy and continuously publish blog posts, as well as implement backlinks. If you don’t have the time to learn and perform these techniques, we can recommend SEO businesses depending on your budget.
Will my website be secure?
Yes, we take website security very seriously and use the latest security methods to ensure that your website and client data are safe and secure.
Can you redesign my existing website?
Absolutely! We'll review your current website, identify areas for improvement and then develop a plan to redesign your website so it aligns with your business objectives and current web standards. This gives you the option of redesigning your current website or starting from scratch.
Can I make updates to my website myself?
Of course. Because your new website is built using a content management system, you can easily make updates and changes to your website content without any coding skills.
Are you able to make ongoing changes for me?
We are always happy to support you as much as you need. We pride ourselves on developing long-term business relationships with our clients, and we look forward to working with you on any future ideas you may have or progressing your website further.
If you need work done on your website, we offer various care plans or we can work on an hourly basis.
Every month, we receive a lot of requests from customers who don't have the time or simply don't want to make improvements or changes to their website themselves.
We can help with regular edits and changes. Email us at support@sunshineweb.co.uk, and if you are not on a care plan, we’ll provide you with a quote. We can charge in 15-minute increments, as some of the changes are only minor tweaks.
